A charming antique Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug, dated 1878, finished in the classic Victorian palette of rich cobalt blue and brown salt-glazed stoneware. The jug is beautifully decorated with moulded Gothic-inspired ornament, applied beadwork and stylised floral motifs, demonstrating the high quality craftsmanship for which Doulton Lambeth became renowned during the late 19th century.
